Information about the Conference
Marketing, in its basic variety, responds to the needs of customers and, in a broader context, to the problems of the modern world. Through responsible actions, it can contribute to the development not only of enterprises, but also of societies both locally and globally, and improve their quality of life. Development is associated with expansion, increasing the profits and influence of the enterprise and the development of the environment. However, it is important to recognize the need for responsible and sustainable development, not only globally, but also on a micro scale. This is the case, among others, in family businesses, which are struggling with balancing the development of the business and family spheres in the perspective of succession.
Plato spoke of quality as “a certain degree of perfection.” Nowadays, it is rather spoken of the pursuit of excellence, as quality is one of the important factors considered in marketing and pro-development activities. The responsible pursuit of quality is becoming a necessity in increasingly competitive markets.
During the conference:
- in the area of marketing, we will turn our attention to such issues as digital marketing and digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) in marketing, sustainable marketing and green marketing, social marketing, customer relations and customer engagement, consumer behaviour, new trends in marketing in the area of research and practice,
- in the area of responsible development, we will address, among other issues: sustainable management and practices in this area, also family businesses regarding company longevity and intergenerational transfer, innovative organizational culture and innovation management, or change management in the organization,
- in the area of quality, we will look at quality in terms of increasing value, integrating processes, including technological ones, and addressing broader social and environmental impacts.
Problems in these three areas will be discussed from theoretical and empirical, descriptive and methodological perspectives.
A Paper Development CID Group Seminar (CID Seminar) will also be held during the conference. The editors of the following journals, in cooperation with the Scientific Committee, may invite the authors of selected full-text articles or extended abstracts (in English) to submit these papers for review to the editorial boards of the journals (in accordance with the policies and rules of the journals): Oeconomia Copernicana (2 articles) and Central European Management Journal (2 articles).
