Information about the Conference
Marketing in its basic form responds to the needs of customers, but more broadly to the problems of the modern world. Through responsible action, it can contribute to the development not only of companies, but also of societies, both locally and globally, and improve their quality of life. Development is associated with expansion, increasing the profits and influence of a company and the advancement of the environment. However, it is important to recognise the need for responsible and sustainable development not only on a global scale, but also on a micro scale. This is the case, among others, in family businesses that struggle with balancing the development of the business and family spheres in the perspective of succession.
Plato spoke of quality as “a certain degree of perfection”. Nowadays, one speaks more of the pursuit of excellence, as quality is one of the important factors considered in marketing and pro-development activities. The responsible pursuit of quality is becoming a necessity in increasingly competitive markets.
During the conference:
- in the area of marketing, we will focus on the responsibility of marketing information;
- in the area of responsible development, we will refer to the specifics of family companies regarding company longevity and intergenerational transfer;
- in the quality area, we will look at the quality of internal management processes also in the area of competence management.
Problems in these three areas will be discussed from a theoretical and empirical, descriptive and methodological perspective.
During the conference, an article development seminar ‘Paper Development CID Group Seminar‘ will also be organized. The aim of this seminar is to support the authors of the presented scientific papers in further improvement of articles with the intention of publishing them in highly rated scientific journals. The discussion will be attended by experienced scientists with recognized achievements, including members of program boards of this type of journals.
Abstracts of 3 – 5 pages can be sent in English or Polish according to the conference dates. The organizers will confirm by e-mail that the abstract has been accepted for the session. The authors of the four most promising abstracts/papers will be asked to develop the research results into full texts of the article in accordance with the guidelines of the Central European Management Journal (two papers) or Oeconomia Copernicana (two papers). Ready articles will be recommended by the CID Group Seminar scientific board for the CEMJ or OC journal.
